Create Promotion Method
POST/promotion-methods
Creates a new promotion method (coupon, email, or SKU) for an affiliate.
Promotion method values are unique per client across all affiliates — duplicates by (type, trigger) under one client return 400 regardless of which affiliate already owns them.
Creating a sku promotion method is not available to API access tokens; a sku request is always
refused with 403. Create SKU promotion methods in the Refersion dashboard.
Rate limit: 60 requests per minute per account and credential type, shared across all write endpoints. Exceeding it returns 429 with a Retry-After header.
